Caring For Your Autistic Child

I don't necessarily agree with many of the ideas presented in the following article, specifically the ones that discuss the impact autism has on the family. For my family, I would have to say that the amount of energy we devote to the autism itself is directly related to the kinds of interventions we are using to support it. Each member of the family still has access to an equal amount of attention and affection, despite having TWO members with Spectrum disorders. We can't say what will happen in the years to come. My advice to any spectrum family is that you find the lifestyle and the intervention options that make the experience easier on the entire family.
